| Artist's Comments: | These towering sunflowers did indeed stand tall and free in our market garden landscape. We grew them for the pure joy of seeing them, but did harvest some seeds, or pick them displayed in tall pots for our customers to enjoy. A loose, painterly drawing underpins this large painting's colourful depiction of sunflower abundance. |
